“There isn’t any money in New Zealand. While the streets of Luxembourg are made out of caviar and the brooks and streams of New York are filled with Krug Champagne, kiwis are left to fight over a 10 pence piece that was left here by an English backpacker who was considering buying the South Island last year. The lack of money means that making music videos normally involves several sheets of newspaper and a couple of our friends who are a dab hand with charcoal and crayons.

Battle Circus though have confounded the financiers and come up with a video that looks as though it was made in Hollywood by the mutant offspring of Peter Jackson and George Lucas. To top it off Send in the Clones has a dark side that runs deep with evil clowns and children in gas masks and that has to be a good thing.”
